BEIJING, May 7 (Reuters) – Tesla’s China-made electric vehicle sales rose for the sixth straight month of year-on-year increases, as it navigates intensifying competition in two of its largest markets.
Deliveries of Model 3 and Model Y produced at its Shanghai factory, including exports to Europe and other markets, totalled 79,478 units, down 7.2% from March, data from the China Passenger Car Association showed on Thursday.
