TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Thursday evening, the 12 Points Public Market hosted a fundraising event to help a local organization.
Uncork the Market is a wine tasting event benefiting Terre Haute’s YMCA. Proceeds from Thursday night’s event will help with scholarships for kids to participate in the YMCA’s programs.
it will also help with the 2025 renovation project.
Those who attended got to embark on a wine tasting journey with a professional instructor, and enjoy some tasty appetizers.
“With our move in the community to renovate the YMCA and really try to reach out to new people, and just expose the community to what the Y does. We love folks to come out and see what we’re all about,” Executive Branch Director of the YMCA Sam Albrecht said.
