CARLISLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Saturday morning the Carlisle Haddon Township Fire Department hosted a pancake and sausage breakfast.
They did this to raise money for the department. This money will be used for AED’s along with essential gear for the department.
Captain Rob McCammon said this gives them a great opportunity to connect with their community.
“It gives us an opportunity to see our community members in more a relaxed environment than what we are used to in an emergency,” said McCammon. “Our community is always big in supporting us and helping us out and we try and return that whenever they have a need.”
McCammon said he can’t thank this community enough for their constant support.
