TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — UPDATE: According to a post from the Terre Haute Police Department’s Facebook page, Officers with THPD were able to quickly identify and arrest the suspect as they were walking away from the scene in the area of 20th Street and Buckeye Street. 35 year old Ralph Goff was arrested on three outstanding warrants and charged with a level six felony of arson.
Terre Haute police are searching for an arson suspect after a fire destroyed a storage container.
The incident happened Monday in the area of N 19th Street and Maple Street. The Terre Haute Fire Department knocked out the blaze which was allegedly set to a storage container, previously used as a semi-trailer.
Officers were on scene Monday conducting a criminal investigation. They added that anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Terre Haute Police Department.
