TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — HI-99 radio station participated in the 34th annual St. Jude radiothon to help raise donations for the hospital.
The event featured stories from St. Jude patients and families, exciting incentives, and a few special guests. The total amount raised from the radiothon was $92,645. HI-99 has been a supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1989.
HI-99’s Morning Host Party Marty said he appreciates the help from the valley.
“It feels amazing to be apart of it every year. You know we would not give up our radio station for two days if it wasn’t worth it. It just all adds up. Everybody’s donations and every little thing everyone does is a huge help to St. Jude,” Party Marty said.
