SULLIVAN COUNTY, IN – In compliance with the latest Governor’s order, the Sullivan County Commissioners have ordered the closing of the Sullivan County Courthouse, and all nonessential offices effective immediately, through April 6, 2020.
All County related public and private meetings will be postponed to a later date.
Nonessential Court dates are being rescheduled, however the Courts will continue to address urgent matters.
Essential government agencies such as the Sheriff’s Office and Jail will remained staffed and operational.
Law enforcement officers will continue to respond to emergency and essential calls.
Sullivan County Ambulance, Sullivan County Emergency Management, Sullivan County Health Department, along with all police and fire departments will remain staffed and operational.
County Commissioners will continue to handle important and urgent matters.
Highway crews will respond to only essential calls for service.
All other nonessential County government offices will be closed through at least April 6, 2020.
