Radio has been such a huge part of my life!  I started on the air when I was in high school, a complete fluke after a successful interview to run the night switchboard at WTHI TV.   I have had some terrific jobs over the years, and I have seen success, but it wasn’t until someone decided to partner me with Party Marty two years ago that everything I’ve learned over the course of my career sort of seemed to come into focus.

My father taught me to look for work that made me happy and Then I would never feel like I was “working” a job. For me, that always brought me back to radio.  I have had the thrill of meeting Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Rascal Flatts, my favorite: Eric Church, and so many more. I have trembled on the stage at Hulman Center introducing Brooks and Dunn, or Wynonna.  These unbelievable experiences have all come my way because of radio. My three year old daughter got to meet KISS, up close and personal. Gene Simmons stuck out his tongue at her!  I was mortified, she completely nonplussed. Radio has been part of me my whole life.

I’m thankful to be part of your morning routine.  I genuinely hope we choose topics that interest you and prizes that tempt you. I really do wonder about you as we go through the show. Are there kids, is it hectic, are you flying solo and just here for the music?  Thank goodness you can’t hear me sing!  If you ever need to reach me, just tell Marty. He’s in charge. And he knows everything. And have you ever known a more high maintenance man than Party Marty?  Don’t get me started…
