WEST UNION, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — A crash on Illinois Route 1 near West Union caused some delays for drivers.
Just after 6 p.m. the Clark County Sheriff’s Office encouraged drivers to avoid Illinois Route 1 near West Union due to a crash.
When our crews arrived on the scene, a semi-truck was turned over in a ditch. According to first responders, the crash was not fatal and wrecker crews were working to remove the semi-truck from the ditch.
Both the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police were on the scene.
