TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Terre Haute firefighter is facing child molestation charges stemming from incidents as far back as 1998.
According to court documents, 46-year-old Rodger Plunkett II was arrested Wednesday on three felony counts of child molestation. He was being held at the Vigo County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
Terre Haute Fire Chief Jeff Fisher confirmed Plunkett was still employed with the department as of Thursday morning.
Plunkett is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Sept. 10.
