Gina N. Richey, 35, of Terre Haute turned herself in on a Vigo County warrant. She was charged with two counts of child seduction alleging she had a lengthy relationship with a Riverton Parke High School student.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation that began in September in Parke County. It was later determined the alleged incidents took place in Vigo County.
Richey resigned from the school corporation amid the investigation. A teaching assistant who did not report the relationship was fired.
Richey will appear in Vigo County court Thursday.
