TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- Three local partners launched a new initiative Tuesday to help people get active.
It’s called 2K Tuesday and the slogan is “walk today for a better tomorrow”.
The event is a partnership between the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, Indiana State University and Purdue Extension.
People are encouraged to invite their friends and co-workers to walk a monthly route every Tuesday at noon.
They can also snap a selfie and share it on social media with #2KTuesdayDTH.
The chamber will post the monthly route online each month.
