Arson arrest made following Terre Haute house fire

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Terre Haute man is facing arson charges following a house fire Thursday night.

Elmer Carlyle, 54, allegedly set fire to a home at 700 14 1/2 Street. Authorities believe Carlyle made threats to set fire to the location after being evicted from the residence.

He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
