They worked to produce remote control mini computers with sensors.
We talked with a professor who says this is the kind of technology that the future holds.
The department head of Electronic Computer Engineering, Mario Simoni said, “They’re being exposed to a lot of new ideas, a lot of new topics. It’s a bit of a stretch, many of them have not programmed before. And so they’re going from no programming to building a robot for a competition.”
The competition helps teach students design elements, team working, communication skills and trial and error.
