This saturday the Parke-Vermillion Humane Society will offer a low cost vaccine clinic.
It will take place at Nelson’s Greenhouse in Clinton.
Staff will also be offering nail trimming services, micro chips and heart worm tests for dogs and cats.
Humane society staff say it’s important to get your pets vaccinated as the bigget worry this season is the Parvovirus in puppies.
“A lot of Parvo going around with puppies if they don’t have those vaccinations then they can catch Parvo,” said shelter manager Brenda Boathouse. “It can travel with you on the bottom of your shoes, that virus and then you take it home and your puppies could get sick.”
All dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier, shots range from ten to 20 dollars, cash only
