VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – At around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Vermillion County officers received a 911 call about a semi trailer that had rolled onto its side.
The semi had turned onto its side in the median of State Road 63 just south of County Road 300 South.
Officers arrived on scene to find the semi on its side with the driver still inside. The driver Andrew Alcozer, 35, of Villa Park, Ill. said he had swerved to miss a deer which caused him to hit the median.
He was extricated from the semi and treated for minor injuries.
