TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The future leaders in science, engineering and math are showing the community what they’ve learned.
On Wednesday the Rose Show took place at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
More than 110 projects were on display for the community and industry representatives to see.
One of the projects we learned about is an autonomous water gun. Students created it in their Engineering Design Studio class.
They’re excited to take what they’ve learned to the real world.
“When we’re making something like this, this is essentially a test device to show what we can do and if we can do this with $70 worth of materials, what can we do with $700 worth of materials?” says sophomore Liam Groom.
Some of the projects were completed for clients like Google and IBM.
