Cops Cycling for Survivors is an awareness and support group that travel across the state honoring fallen officers in the line of duty and their families.
In the group this year was Jeff Pitts, family to fallen officer Rob Pitts, who decided to cycle for his second year in a row.
Members of the group ranged from family members, to fellow officers, to community members that wanted to show their support.
The tour lasts for 13 days starting on the July 12th this year and ending on the 20th in Indianapolis.
The group makes 13 stops going from Boone county to Moorsville honoring fallen officers along the way.
The final destination is in Hill Cemetery to honor the family of fallen Indiana State Trooper Robert Garrison who’s end of watch was in December of 1959.
