According to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, a driver heading east on French Drive around 2:50 a.m. went off the road and hit a tree.
Two people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene. One other person in the vehicle was taken to Regional Hospital.
Sheriff John Plasse said the names of those involved were being withheld at this time.
