ROBINSON, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — One of two suspects charged in the death of a Crawford County, Ill. woman was found guilty Wednesday.
Crawford County State’s Attorney Matthew Hartrich announced 46-year-old Jason Strawbridge of North Carolina was convicted of first degree murder.
He was charged in the death of 62-year-old Sandra Kendall who was found dead from a gunshot wound in the community of Bellair a year ago.
Strawbridge will be sentenced on Aug. 26.
The victim’s daughter, Kristine Phillippe was also charged with murder in the case. Her trial will begin next month.
