TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Our sation teamed up with Midas, Baesler’s Market and Hamilton Center to give back this holiday season.
Some of our staff helped pass out food items to case workers at Hamilton Center on Thursday.
Those case workers will then deliver that food to their clients who could use a helping hand.
Donated food items include ham, mashed potatoes, canned corn, dinner rolls and more.
“Giving back to the community means a lot to us. Not everbody has the privilege and the means to do what we do everyday, so it’s definitely great to give back to the community. That’s our goal,” says Brian Niece, owner of Midas.
Kristine O’Hare in marketing at Baesler’s says, “On behalf of Baesler’s, we would like to thank each and every customer who donated at the store and everyone who donaetd at Midas as well. Without all of that, it wouldn’t be possibel to feed all these families.”
120 families were helped at Thursday’s event.
