TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Salvation Army is halfway toward its holiday fundraising goal, and organizers are asking the community to help get them to the finish line.
So far, $60,000 of the $120,000 goal has been donated through the annual Kettle Campaign.
Volunteers encourage community members to visit one of the following locations to make a donation:
Dec.12, Dec. 13

Baesler’s Market.
Dec. 14
– Rotary South Club will be at
Kroger’s South
, West Vigo Middle School Dance Team will be at
Walmart South
, World Gospel will be at
Kroger’s East and North

Another way to help is to become a Kettle Booster. Drop a check made payable to the Salvation Army Vigo County in any kettle between now and Christmas Eve. Call Envoy Sue Linden at (812) 249-9986 for further details.
The Kettle Campaign is from the community and for the community. Each year, the Salvation Army of Vigo County serves several families who are unable to pay utilities or rent. These families are at the 150% poverty level.
