PIMENTO, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – UPDATE: All units that responded to the scene have left and no one was taken into custody after being unable to locate the suspect, according to state police.
State police surrounded a cornfield in Pimento looking for a suspect.
We were informed of the happenings around 7:30 p.m. According to state police, the Farmersburg town marshal believed he saw a person with multiple warrants out for his arrest and attempted to pull him over.
The suspect fled into a house near Harold Drive and All Street once multiple police units arrived on scene.
Once police arrived, the suspect fled on foot into a nearby cornfield and they had set up a perimeter.
