The school held a dedication Tuesday afternoon after the football team finished their first practice on the new surface.
Northview’s new turf will be put to good use for soccer, football, and the band.
The principal of Northview, Chris Mauk, said “The fact that this is gonna impact so many of our kids and our community gets that. They are the ones who’ve helped make this possible along with our school board and central office staff so we are just thrilled to death to have this opportunity.”
This is the first high school in the Valley to make the switch to the turf.
