A man who pleaded guilty to killing a local woman in 1998 has died.
39-year-old Clinton Mackey has died, according to the Indiana Department of Corrections inmate database.
He pleaded guilty back in 2015 to the 1998 murder of 19-year-old Erika Case.
Case was found stabbed to death in a rural West Terre Haute home where she was house sitting.
Mackey was serving a 40 year prison sentence for the crime.
