GRAYSVILLE Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)- Officials believe the storms Tuesday morning to have strong winds that left damage to properties in Graysville.
Residents believe it to be a tornado.
The National Weather Service has been notified and will be sending someone to assess the damages and determine if strong winds, or a tornado actually occurred.
Local county officials rode around today taking pictures and drone footage of crops that had been damaged by the storm
President of the Sullivan County Commission Robert Davis said they did this to give farmers a better understanding of the condition of their crops.
Official said the damage seems to have followed a path, leaving tree limbs and crops toppled over.
Davis said he doesn’t believe the damage will qualify the county for aid, but it never hurts to assess the damage.
