TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) – Our local first responders protect and provide service to the community even when they’re just having fun.
We got to see that first hand today.
That’s after three checks were presented to Wabash Valley charity groups.
It’s a result of July’s guns vs. hoses smash derby. Last month, local fire crews battled local and state police at the Wabash Valley Fairgrounds in a demolition derby.
Lambert’s and Absolute Towing companies gave a portion of the proceeds from the event to organizations.
