HILLSDALE, Ind. — A Hillsdale man bonded out of jail after being charged with child exploitation.
Leonard D. Beebe, 53, of Hillsdale was charged with a level 4 felony for child exploitation involving a 12-year-old girl.
The alleged crime occurred while the girl was living in Indiana; however, it was once the girl moved to Connecticut that authorities were alerted. Connecticut State Police then contacted Indiana State Police who initiated an investigation.
The Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Beebe Monday. He turned himself into the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office and bonded out.
After reviewing the
investigation, the Vermillion County Prosecutor’s Office issued an arrest
warrant for Beebe on August 5, 2019. Beebe turned himself into the
Vermillion County Sheriff’s office and bonded out.
