DAVIESS CO., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – One person died following a head-on collision in Daviess County Tuesday morning.
Lance Parsons, 58, of Odon was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Indiana State Police.
ISP and Daviess County Sheriff’s Department responded to the two-vehicle crash on CR 1225 East near 1400 North.
Parson was driving a Chevrolet Spark southbound on CR 1225 East. According to authorities, he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a mini-van driven by Julie Wintergerst, 48, of Odon.
Parsons was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Wintergerst was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
