TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Update: According to city officials, the billing service has been restored and residents can now make payments through the online portal.
Original: Due to severe storms hitting certain areas in the country, the billing payment processing for the sewage billing department is down.
According to the City of Terre Haute, the sewage billing department has said that the TPI billing payment processing that operates out of the state of Oklahoma is currently down.
The city continues and says the sewage billing department hopes services will be back up tomorrow so payments can be processed.
“Any disconnects will not be processed until tomorrow at the earliest. We apologize for any inconvenience,” the post reads.
