TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — You hear a lot about Black Friday, but what about Small Business Saturday?
Small Business Saturday is a day the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce is calling on shoppers to support small and locally-owned businesses.
The chamber says about 20 businesses are participating in the initiative with special deals and offerings on Saturday, November 25, but the chamber encourages you to support any small business.
Willow Gift and Home will participate in the initiative on Saturday by offering a free gift with every purchase. Additionally, those who stop by can get entered into a drawing to win a gift basket worth $200.
Owner Heather Wolf said Small Business Saturday is their chance to say thank you to the community who has supported them all these years.
“It’s probably my favorite day of the year. It’s one of our biggest days of the year. It’s great that it’s right around the holidays so I get to see people that are coming in from out of town that I may not have seen for a long time,” Wolf said.
