TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department is letting the community know about a new playground at a local park.
It’s located at Anaconda Park, at Elizabeth Avenue and North 14th Street. The city’s director of recreation said it was installed with the remainder of the department’s playground budget from 2022.
Kilie Smith, Director of Recreation for the City of Terre Haute said the department identified this park as a good fit for the new playground.
“We’d love to see as many families as possible enjoying our new playground. We’re always doing our best to benefit the community with our playground investments, so we’d love to see it used because it’s a lot of fun,” Smith said.
Smith said the equipment is geared toward little kids but it’s something children of all ages can enjoy.
