They had three speakers representing the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian faiths. They talked about the recent tragedies that happened in California and in Sri Lanka and also had a vigil back in march for those who passed in the Christ Church incident in New Zeland. The purpose of the Inter-Faith Council is to call attention and make positive changes to help prevent and eliminate future hate crimes.
The president of the Inter-Faith Council of the Wabash Valley, Arthur Finesod, said “it’s incredible, it’s incredible. What you’re going to see here are Muslims, Jews, Christians of all sects coming together, praying together, honoring the dead together in our own prayers in our own ways. And that’s the beauty of this organization.”
