SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Volunteers took to the streets in downtown Sullivan Friday for the second annual “Downtown Flower Flood.”
The fower-planting, hosted by the Heart of Sullivan, was part of a redevelopment effort that has been going on for the past five years.
Mayor Clint Lamb called the event a prime example of how much the community of Sullivan cares.
“This is just another perfect example that residents are truly living by the city motto, and that’s ‘take time to care,’” Lamb said.
