Over 800 students became ISU alum as family and loved ones took part in the celebration.
Both graduate and undergraduate degrees were handed out to those who met academic standards and curriculum expectations.
The ceremony had both a student and alum speaker who expressed gratitude towards the institution.
Robert Lowe, an HR vice president, credited ISU for pushing him to finish his degree.
“Once a Sycamore, always a Sycamore,” said Lowe. “You don’t become a Sycamore when you graduate… it’s when you first set foot on campus that you become part of the ISU family.”
Lowe expressed hope in the future of the 2019 graduates.
