How to Help
Now through August 11th, the Salvation Army and Dorsett Automotive are collecting donations for school supplies.
The goal is to help over 500 children from low income families in Vigo County show up for the first day of school with the supplies they need to be successful.
We are in need of:
- Backpacks
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Markers
- Crayons
- Pens
- Dry erase markers
- Supply boxes
- Pencil bags
- Scissors
- Miscellaneous school items

School supplies will be distributed at The Salvation Army office on the following dates:
August 9th – 9:00am to 11:00am, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
August 10th – 9:00am to 11:00am, 1:00 to 3:00pm, 4:00pm to 6:00pm
August 11th – 9:00am to 11:00am, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
