WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – This weekend a special event will be making its way to the West Vigo Community Center.
New Wave Pro Wrestling will be hosting a free show Saturday, Nov. 26, with local wrestlers. Local vendors will also be set up before the show. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the show will start at 6:30.
They will be collecting non-perishable food items for the community center’s food pantry and toys for Toys for Tots.
Creator Director Earl Joseph said it’s a great way to give back to the community.
“It’s not just a live entertainment show. It’s not just about wrestling. It’s about the community,” Joseph said. “We love the people here. We love the people that always come to the shows. We see a lot of same faces. A lot of regular repeat customers. And this is our way of giving back and showing to the community that we want to be here and we love them as much as they love us.”
If you are not able to make it to the event and would like to make a donation you can message their Facebook page at New Wave Pro.
