TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – People on the east side of Terre Haute will soon have a new clinic available to them.
Friday, Union health broke ground on the new Union Medical Group Eastside Clinic.
It will be constructed on State Road 46 in the Sycamore Terrace Shopping Center just west of Sonic.
The new location will offer primary care, convenient care and more.
According to officials, the new clinic allows more residents access to quality care.
“The east side is a growing area for the Wabash Valley and the services that are coming out here, so we want to be here with that to provide those services and not only that, but also the ones that are traveling by on the interstate,” Union Health president and CEO Steve Holman said.
The goal is to have the new clinic built by January.
