TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A Terre Haute man was sentenced Friday to 21 years in prison in connection to a robbery that occurred last July.
Jon T. Marshall originally faced multiple charges including attempted murder, but other charges were dismissed in a plea agreement.
The plea agreement left sentencing options open as long as the sentence was not greater than 30 years.
Judge hears sentencing arguments in robbery case
Last week, a judge heard sentencing arguments from both sides and took them into consideration before the 21-year sentenced was imposed Friday.
Another defendant in the case, Dereck Worthington, also pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
