TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Firefighters battled a fire at a duplex building located at 7400 Thayer Street Friday.
According to Otter Creek Deputy Fire Chief Bryan Mount, the call came in at approximately 4:45 p.m. Firefighters were able to quickly get the fire under control, however, the building is considered a loss.
While no humans were home during the fire, there were three dogs that died in the blaze.
Lyford and Seelyville departments assisted with water supply during the incident.
