PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Parke County Sheriff’s Office has identified those involved in a motorcycle accident, that killed one and injured another.
It happened Thursday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. 36 and Walker Ramp Road. That’s east of Rockville.
The Parke County Sheriff’s Office says 60-year-old Jaime Balingit of Mooresville was traveling eastbound on the highway when he slowed down to make a left turn.
Authorities say another motorcyclist, 58-year-old Robert Klein of Avon, was traveling behind Balingit and collided into the back of his motorcycle.
Both riders were thrown from their motorcycles.
Klein died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.
Balingit suffered minor injuries.
