PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Parke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a wreck involving three vehicles.
It happened Monday afternoon on U.S. 36 near County Road 880 East.
Police say 24-year-old Elijah Gray of Rockville traveled left of center into oncoming traffic.
One vehicle struck Gray’s head-on, while another vehicle ended up in a ditch.
One woman was transported to the hospital for her injuries.
Police say Gray refused medical treatment and was offered a field sobriety test. He was transported by police for chemical testing, but was admitted to the emergency room for his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
