WASHINGTON, Ind. — A domestic dispute over a dog took a dramatic turn Monday morning when one party drew a weapon.
Just after 1 a.m., the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department responded to the domestic situation in Elnora in which a female reported Greg Goodheart, 57, pulled a gun on her.
Goodheart returned to his residence in Elnora, but refused to cooperate with law enforcement officers.
The Daviess County Strategic Response Unit was called in, and Goodheart was arrested without further incident.
He was charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon and transported to the Daviess County Security Center.
The Washington Police Department, Daviess County Prosecutor’s Office, the town of Elnora and Daviess Community Hospital Ambulance Service assisted the sheriff’s department.
