TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — It was announced Wednesday that due to a staffing shortage at Rio Grande Elementary School in Terre Haute, Ind. all students will be learning electronically the rest of the week.
According to Vigo County School Corp. Interim District Spokesperson Katelynn Moats Liebermann, the staffing shortage was caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In an email, Moats Liebermann said all students at the school will transition to eLearning starting Thursday, Jan. 27 and will continue online instruction on Friday, Jan. 28.
