PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – Paris police were dispatched to an apartment complex at the 700 block of East Court Street around 8 p.m. eastern time on July 21 in regards to an unwelcome guest.
Upon arrival, 19 year old Devon Deweese was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Police report that Deweese was refusing to leave the property.
Deweese was taken to the Edgar County Jail and additionally charged with arson for a vehicle fire that took place last month.
Deweese’s court date is pending related to the arson charge.
He’s charged with arson and an outstanding Edgar County arrest warrant.
