WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Officials with the construction company building a new water filtration plant for West Terre Haute say the project is right on schedule.
The plant will be located in the 500 block of West Ratcliff Avenue.
MSI Construction began pouring the concrete footers for the facility on Friday.
The goal of the project is to provide cleaner water for the town.
“Once this thing is operational, the raw water will be coming into this facility where it will be treated and then it will be sent out into the town,” says John Michael Major, Project Manager.
Major says the plant is expected to be fully operational in spring of 2020.
