Crawford County first responders received calls around 1:30 P.M. about a man trapped in a grain bin at Annapolis Grain Company. That’s located at 101 W Walnut Street.
Greg Newlin, Captain of the Crawford County Rescue Team, says they were able to use equipment to remove some of the corn and rescue the man.
The man was airlifted to a Terre Haute hospital with injuries to his lower body. He is expected to be OK.
Annapolis Grain and West Union Fire also helped on the scene.
