EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Edgar County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a person who ran away after wrecking a stolen pickup truck.
The sheriff’s office posted on its Facebook page that the truck was wrecked near 2100N and 200E, near Rt36 and Rt49. The driver then ran away.
The sheriff’s office believes the person is still in the area. They urge the public to lock their doors.
If anyone sees anything suspicious, they’re asked to call the sheriff’s office at 217-465-4166.
