TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One person has been arrested after Terre Haute Police received a call about shots fired in the Terre Haute South Vigo High School parking lot Sunday. According to Police Chief Shawn Keen, no one was shot.
Keen said detectives worked through the night to investigate the case, leading to the arrest of Kevin L. Joyner II, 23, of Terre Haute, for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm on school property and intimidation.
Joyner also faces similar charges related to an incident where shots were fired into a residence in the 2200 block of Spruce Street Saturday.
Both cases are still under investigation and additional arrests are possible, according to Keen.
