VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Vincennes Lincoln High School posted a press release to their Facebook page that Homecoming 2020 activities have been cancelled.
The release reads that Vincennes Community School Corporation, Homecoming Committee and city of Vincennes made the decision.
An increase in positive COVID-19 cases in Knox County, regulations to social distance, a large number of reunion cancellations were reasons listed for the decision.
School officials say the plan is to hold Homecoming activities for current students next year, February 12, 2021 after a boys basketball game.
