The community foundation pledged to match every $2 raised by CODA with $1, up to a total of $50,000.
It was an effort to help CODA with fundraising earlier this fall when the organization was struggling financially and in danger of closing its emergency shelter.
CODA had a goal of raising $150,000 to keep its shelter’s doors open. It exceeded that goal thanks to community donations.
